As a pilot small unit for a larger dairy farm, we developed this small structure as cow shed ( pict 1. & 2. )

For the NDDB we developed conceptual design for a two cow shed. The total expense should be less than 150 $ and therefore we used a plastic liner, wooden beams and branches as roofing material. Small and low cost, but still the cows will be comfortable - based on the priciples of the traditional tie stall system. Feed, water and a lickstone are accesible for both cows ( pict. 3. & 4. )
