This 1000 cow dairy farm project was designed as part of a regional project developed for a local agro industrial entity and included large scale growing of potatoes for the food industry. By recycling and reusing the agro waste (manure) and waste water from the farm, in a fertigation system (based on rain harvesting) for the fields, we were able to improve the quality of the harvest and reduce agro waste management costs.

In addition, the maize grown in cycles with the potatoes provided fodder for the animals in the farm, thus reducing additional costs. The project included a processing plant for the milk from the farm, mainly to produce high end dairy products for the nearby tourist resorts. The project was stopped when the company was bought by PepsiCo.
