The Israeli best cow in 2014 is Novella - from the dairy farm at the agricultural school Meir Shfea - located near Zikhron Yaakov. She produces 19,731 kg. ECM of milk in 305 days, with 4.04 % Fat and 3,19 % protein. 

This exceptional dairy farm is operated by 120 school studentsת The farm manger is also a teacher at the school and has a management team of 12 students - to run run the farm which nhas 80 cows and 75 replacement cakves./

Since many years Sprecher Architects is responsible for the design and the development of the production environment of the cows - with a special emphasis on providing the creative environment for the students working at the dairy farm - which includes milking in three shifts and other work around the clock.

Novella receives special attention and care by the students - and she shows her appreciation in return.
